Approach to Care
FOCUS
I chose to dedicate my practice to hand and upper extremity surgery because I am deeply passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals facing issues in these areas. The intricate complexity of the hand and upper extremities, coupled with their vital role in everyday tasks and activities, fascinated me from the beginning of my medical career. I was drawn to the challenge of diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, from fractures and nerve injuries to arthritis and congenital deformities, all with the goal of restoring optimal function and relieving pain. It's incredibly rewarding to witness the transformative impact these surgeries can have on patients, enabling them to regain independence and pursue the activities they love. My commitment to excellence in hand and upper extremity surgery is driven by a desire to provide the highest level of care and contribute to the well-being of those I have the privilege to serve.
PATIENT-CENTERED APPROACH
Delivering patient-centered care is at the core of my practice philosophy. I believe in taking a holistic approach to healthcare, which involves not only treating the symptoms but also understanding the unique needs and goals of each patient. In my consultations, I prioritize active listening and open communication to ensure patients feel heard and valued as partners in their care journey. I explore a range of treatment options, both operative and non-operative, tailoring my recommendations to align with each patient’s preferences and lifestyle. This collaborative approach empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health, fostering a sense of ownership and trust in the treatment plan. Whether it's discussing surgical interventions or exploring conservative therapies, my goal is to provide comprehensive care that addresses not only the physical aspects of a condition but also its emotional and functional impact, ultimately enhancing the overall well-being of the people I care for.
